The automatic strapping system AS2 for steel strap is especially designed to be added to an NDG Press . The aim is to increase production AND at the same time lower the labor cost. The operation of the NDG40L + AS2 requires only 1 operator, providing that the feeding of the carts to the press is done by another person. A pinching mechanism takes the bale away from the press and moves it to the strapping station AS2, where the bale is pressed again and strapped by means of 2 strapping heads.
