The PRP cake press is used to prepare loose fiber and tow for dying or bleaching.
The fiber is loaded onto a chained plate, which is then placed on a movable carrier. The carrier moves under the press, and an outside and inside tube slide down to create a "container".
First, the container is filled with fiber or tow. Then, the pressing plate comes down and presses the materials. The pressing plate, outer and inner tubes are then raised, allowing the cake carrier to exit the press.
