Maximum automation for a consistent sorting process
Erdotex Group has almost 30 years of experience in sorting and upcycling used textiles. In 2020, the company moved to a new sorting facility in Ridderkerk, The Netherlands. This facility was built with one key feature in mind: automation.
The bar for the project was set high; The new installation had to be able to process up to 100 tons of textile per day with minimal human intervention. The challenge was to develop a system in which all processes follow each other seamlessly and almost fully automatically. To realize this project, Erdotex called on Belgian machine builder Valvan.
Valvan has always been a preferred partner. Erdotex has been relying on their experience and technological ingenuity in developing automated sorting and baling systems since the very beginning.
